Beach day

Boy Scout troop

Small local Boy Scout troop. Great troop, great outdoorsmanship. Boys start around age 11 and continue to age 18. Troop meets Monday nights at 7:00 pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church (Central Park and Grant).

Dance class

Learn the story of a ballet through play, reading dance through the music, how they want to express themselves through drawing and reflection time.

Taught by Judd Curry who teaches writing at North Park University. We will spend time writing, reading, and critiquing essays.

Newcomer's Tea

An evening for new homeschoolers, homeschoolers new to the area and to EHE, and parents exploring the possibility of homeschooling. Experienced homeschoolers will provide information, support, and networking in a relaxed and informal setting.

We'll tell a couple of stories from the same author, put on a puppet show, and then they can make their own puppets and play.

We are looking for volunteers to lead the 4th Monday storytimes. Any ages welcome to do so.

Mudlark Theater Company - auditions for The Hobbit

Tolkien's The Hobbit dramatized by Patricia Gray. Be prepared to do some improv and maybe read from the script. Please be somewhat familiar with the story.
